One of the biggest projects in the world incorporated the ASSOUR range into its design. The Azuri Peninsula in Lagos, Nigeria, is a unique steel and concrete residential building project consisting of three sets of over 30 storey towers.
Why BMI Group?
Following hard work and two years of an intense relationship, BMI convinced the contractor to use the BMI Siplast solution, Assour, for sound deadening.
The specification work started in 2018 when the BMI Siplast team approached a world-leading sound and vibration expert who ultimately became the acoustic consultant for the project. Since the early stages of the project, the technical team was supported by the quality team of the BMI Siplast’s factory of Mondoubleau, who promptly carried out the specific tests required by the contractor and the acoustic consultant.
The Assour solution, developed by BMI Group, had clear advantages and fulfilled the demanding acoustic performance of the project while still requiring a thinner concrete slab.
