The Project

The Massalikoul Djinane Mosque spans over an area of 10,000 m2, making it the largest mosque in West Africa. It consists of five minarets with a height of 80 meters, 4 wooden domes, all in which can accommodate up to 10,000 worshipers inside the building and additional 20,000 at its square.
The curved roofs of the Mosque required a waterproofing solution easy to install and compatible with the insulation layer.

Why BMI Group?

The Parathane liquid applied solution was used in combination with Parafor Solo GS, a SBS elastomeric bitumen membrane used as single layer waterproofing membrane for non-accessible roofs and technical roofs. Parafor solo GS is compatible with the insulation layer.
Moreover, BMI provided the certification for each product and the entire system (Avis Techniques).
The BMI technical team provided on-site assistance during the most challenging stages of the project.
